| 31⁄2 cups all-purpose flour 1 | |

| 1⁄4 cup unsalted butter, melted | |
| 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract | |
| 1 teaspoon salt |
For the Filling and the Glaze:
| 1⁄2 cup unsalted butter, softened | |
| 3⁄4 cup brown sugar | |
| 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon | |
| 1 cup powdered sugar | |
| 3 tablespoons milk or heavy cream | |
| teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions

Prepare the Dough First:
Combine warm milk and yeast in a small bowl and let it sit for about 10 minutes until it becomes foamy.
Then take a large bowl and whisk together sourdough discard, melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
Next, add the yeast mixture with the wet ingredients and mix carefully until all ingredients are fully combined.
Gradually add the flour and salt, and mix until a soft dough forms.
Then knead the dough for about 10 minutes on a floured surface until dough becomes smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in bowl and cover it with cloth, and let it rise for 1.5 hours, or until it has doubled in size.

Mix the soft butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon into a smooth paste.

Roll out the risen dough into a 12x16-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
Spread the cinnamon-sugar filling evenly over the dough.
Roll the dough tightly from the long edge into a log and slice it into 10 equal pieces.
Place the rolls in a baking dish, cover with cloth, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
